iHouse Market is our annual furniture and household items giveaway for international students.

If you are an international student in our community, we want to welcome you with some FREE furniture and household items (couches, chairs, dining tables, mattresses, bookshelves, desks, appliances, dishes, etc.!)

When can I register?

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 MARKET HAS CLOSED. ALL SLOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN.

You are welcome to come at 10:45am on market day (August 23) and join the walk-ins line.

What can I expect after I register?

You will receive a confirmation email a few days before the market
You will receive a second email with your appointment time

What do I do at the market?

Arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time*
Check in to let us know you've arrived
Enjoy complimentary breakfast while you wait for one of our volunteers to help you shop.
You may select 1 large furniture item (couch, dining table, mattress, etc.)
You may select 2 smaller furniture items (coffee table, chair, office desk, etc.)
You may fill a box full of household items.
Our volunteers will help you load your items into a truck/trailer, provide you with transportation back to your residence, and help you unload the items into your home

A&M Bus to Stop 26 (Southwest Parkway at Central Park Lane). This is the closest bus stop to our building

DONATIONS:

The next drop-off date for donations is Saturday, July 26, 9:00-10:30am. Please note: only small household items can be accepted on this date (our storage building for large items is full). Large items can be dropped off to the AFC Center on Friday, August 22.

The iHouse Market is an opportunity to welcome new international students from all over the world to Aggieland! Many students arrive in College Station with little more than a suitcase, so the iHouse Market is a time where we can bless these students with furniture and other household items needed for their apartments, for free! Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with international students and share the love of Christ with students who have the opportunity to return home and share the Gospel.

DONATION INFORMATION:

We are so thankful for all donations we receive. In order to bless these students in the best way possible, please see a list below of the gently used items we are accepting for the iHouse Market.

ITEMS WE ACCEPT:

Furniture - most needed items: desks, beds, dressers, couches, chairs (living, dining, desk), dining tables, nightstands, coffee table, bookshelves
Mattresses
Vacuum Cleaners
Lamps
Small Appliances - most needed items: microwaves, rice cookers, coffee makers, blenders, toaster ovens, slow cookers, instapots, air fryers
Dishes/Kitchen Items - sets of four preferred (dishes, cups, utensils)
Towels (new)

PLEASE DO NOT DONATE:

Worn, Stained, or Torn items
Bed frames (any size)
Large furniture ( king size beds, wardrobe, china cabinet, armoire)
King size mattresses
Pillows
Used towels and bedding
Clothes / Shoes
Books
Home decor
Large Appliances - washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.
Computer Equipment - monitors, laptops, printers, etc.
Televisions
Phones - cellular, cordless, or corded phones

DONATION DROP-OFFS:

We have a storage unit, donated by JM Portable Buildings, to store furniture for the summer. It is located in the parking lot at the A&M Church of Christ. Volunteers will be available on the days and times listed below to help unload.

Please coordinate with friends and family if you need assistance bringing your donations to the church building. Furniture pick-up service is reserved for our seniors and international students. If you are unable to make one of the drop off dates/times above, please email ihouse@amchurch.net to arrange a drop-off time that works with your schedule.
